Hello, my name is David Symonds. This year is my 10th year at Summit Parkway Middle School. I am happy to be serving as the 6th Grade School Counselor and Director of Counseling in my 22nd year in public education. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dayton and my Master of Education and Ed. Specialist degrees from the University of South Carolina. I look forward to an outstanding year as we help ALL of our Eagles SOAR!
Hello! My name is Cordelia Glover and this is my 3rd year at Summit Parkway Middle School. I have worked as a School Counselor for 10 years and am happy to serve as the 7th Grade School Counselor for the 2020-2021 school year. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Limestone College and graduate degree in School Counseling from Cambridge College. I am very excited for this new journey and look forward to helping all of my students SOAR!
My name is Patricia Boswell-Glasgow (Ms. BG) and this is my 4th year at Summit Parkway Middle School. I am the 8th grade School Counselor for the 2020-2021 school year. I earned my graduate degree in School Counseling from the University of South Carolina; I earned my undergraduate degree from Hampton University in Hampton Virginia. My favorite advice for my students is to “Love Yourself.” I look forward to serving my students and parents by helping students learn to live (personal/social), learn to learn (academics), and learn to work(careers). Together, we will “Invest in the Nest!”
Hi, my name is Janet Price. This is my 12th year at Summit Parkway Middle School. In my role as a Career Specialist, I serve students and parents by identifying and accessing career information and resource material, supporting students in the exploration of career clusters, assisting students in selecting an area of academic focus within a cluster of study, coordinating community resources and citizens, representing diverse occupations in career development activities for parents and students, and assisting with the usage of computer-based career guidance systems. I look forward to an outstanding year as we help All of our Eagles SOAR!

Hello, my name is Vanessa Frazier. This year is my 5th year at Summit Parkway Middle School but I’ve been in Richland School District Two for over 18 years. I love to welcome new students and parents to SPM. This position allows me to get to know the families in our school and to be an encouragement to both students and parents. Hi, my name is Dee Dee Temple. This is my 15th year at Summit Parkway Middle School and my 15th year in education. In my role as Student Data Coordinator, I serve students and parents by performing all necessary activities relate to PowerSchool database and activities related to data extraction and reporting for district, state and federal funding requirements, including but not limited to data entry, review, verification, extraction, and parent portal.
