Hello, my name is David Symonds. This year is my 15th year at Summit Parkway Middle School. I am happy to be serving as the 6th Grade School Counselor and Director of Counseling in my 27th year in public education. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dayton and my Master of Education and Ed. Specialist degrees from the University of South Carolina. I look forward to an outstanding year as we help ALL of our Eagles SOAR!

Hello! My name is Cordelia Glover and this is my 3rd year at Summit Parkway Middle School. I have worked as a School Counselor for 10 years and am happy to serve as the 7th Grade School Counselor for the 2020-2021 school year. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Limestone College and graduate degree in School Counseling from Cambridge College. I am very excited for this new journey and look forward to helping all of my students SOAR!
My name is Patricia Boswell-Glasgow (Ms. BG) and this is my 9th year at Summit Parkway Middle School. I am the 8th grade School Counselor for the 2020-2021 school year. I earned my graduate degree in School Counseling from the University of South Carolina; I earned my undergraduate degree from Hampton University in Hampton Virginia. My favorite advice for my students is to “Love Yourself.” I look forward to serving my students and parents by helping students learn to live (personal/social), learn to learn (academics), and learn to work(careers). Together, we will “Invest in the Nest!”
Greetings! My name is Kenya Salley. This is my 4th year at Summit Parkway, where I serve as the Career Specialist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and my Master’s degree from Webster University. I am also globally certified as a Career Development Facilitator(GCDF). My role is to serve all students and parents by building a bridge between education and the future, helping students see possibilities, build skills, and make informed choices early on. I introduce students to a wide range of career options through lessons, career fairs, guest speakers, and field trips. I coordinate job shadowing, workplace visits, or mentorship opportunities. I also work closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to integrate career readiness into academics. I look forward to an outstanding year as we help ALL of our Eagles SOAR!

Hello, my name is Vanessa Frazier. This year is my 5th year at Summit Parkway Middle School but I’ve been in Richland School District Two for over 18 years.
