Breaking Down eLearning into Bite-sized Pieces
Does eLearning seem overwhelming at times? Well, so can eating an elephant if you look at the whole thing. However, the picture conveys some age-old wisdom that is highly applicable to eLearning, especially if you are feeling overwhelmed by it.
The statement above describes how to get lots of things done. If we break it down, you just need to get the first assignment done. How do you do that?
Bite 1: Figure out what assignment to work on
Bite 2: Find where the assignment is located.
Bite 3: Open the assignment.
Bite 4: Read the directions.
Bite 5: Read the first question.
Bite 6: Find the answer to the first question.
Bite 7: Answer the first question.
Bite 8: Repeat Bites 5-7 until the first assignment is done.
Bite 9: When you have completed the first assignment, go back to Bite 1.
Bite 10: Repeat the process until all assignments are done.
If you follow these 10 steps, you will be done before you know it, and then, life might seem like it is starting to go your way. Ultimately, in life, with hard work and sticking to it (whatever it is), you can make things start to go your way.
