South Carolina Youth Collective (SCYC) Fellows Program

The Annual South Carolina Youth Collective (SCYC) Fellows Program will be held this year from June 8-12, 2020. The program will be a little different due to COVID-19. This year, the program will be offered VIRTUALLY. There are no fees associated with this enduring experience.

SCYC Fellows are high school students (rising 9th graders included) from across South Carolina who have a passion for social justice and are civically-minded.

Student Activities include:

• Participating in community building exercises

• Learning civil rights history through activities and virtual field trips

• Planning to lead a workshop on race and reconciliation

• Learning how to plan and implement a project in their home community
